I was initially surprised by the overall quality of this chess set, especially since it's quite affordable. The pieces are generally well-made, with only minor imperfections, which are to be expected given the price point. Regardless, they feel sturdy and play well. The board itself is robust and nicely detailed, it opens and closes smoothly and has some clever features. I found the board and the pieces to be the ideal size for a foldable chess set, they are easy to carry and store while maintaining a comfortable playing experience. Regrettably, I did encounter a few issues that should have been caught during quality control checks. The storage compartment, in particular, proved problematic, with some pieces not fitting correctly and causing disruption to the entire set-up. Additionally, the paint from the white checker pieces bled onto the surrounding area, leaving a noticeable stain. Upon reviewing feedback from other buyers, it became apparent that quality control is a consistent issue with this product. Despite this drawback, I still believe this chess set offers good value for the price. However, If you are thinking of purchasing this set, be aware of the possibility of encountering similar issues as you may need to make minor repairs or seek assistance from support. It also came with very nice stickers, a postcard, and other minor goodies. I thought that was nice.

El producto es magnífico como calidad-precio. Las piezas son preciosas en madera y la presentación es perfecta. No le he dado un cinco porque el anuncio decía que estaban las piezas imantadas y no es así. Si alguien está buscando un buen tablero a un precio razonable y con piezas bonitas este es sin duda.

Excelente juego de ajedrez, bien acabado, pulido y agradable al tacto y con detalles que intentan deleitar al jugador - comprador - cliente, incluso madres y padres para introducir al precioso juego del ajedrez a sus hijos. Más que correcto en suma, recomendable para su compra si buscas un tablero para casa y para transportar por encima de los "minis". Esto sí y como crítica constructiva: verán un álfil blanco con una mancha negra inferior que no he conseguido limpiar. Detalle muy importante que no les puede ocurrir para unas piezas de ajedrez... blancas !! Y la "prueba del algodón" para un ajedrez imantado / magnético: no superada. Si colocan las piezas y le dan un giro de 180° al tablero... son varias las piezas que caen, en este caso y comprobado dos veces, cuatro. Solución: imán, más potente, claro. Les añadiría que también para el mismo soporte de las piezas al guardarlas. Con todo, lo mantengo, buen tablero y piezas.

🤩 non so giocare a scacchi e vorrei imparare, ma ho ordinato questi pezzi fantastici perché avevo preso una scacchiera di legno molto bella in cui c'erano dei ridicoli pezzi di plastica. Non immaginavo che sarebbero arrivati degli scacchi così belli, sono a dir poco meravigliosi, in legno perfettamente rifinito, con il vellutino sotto, e con una meravigliosa scacchiera, sempre tutta in legno, il cui unico difetto è quello che hanno già indicato in molti, ovvero il fatto di dover togliere tutti i pezzi per poterla utilizzare. Per il resto niente da dire, la trovo una collezione stupenda, confezionata alla perfezione, quindi ottima anche per fare un bel regalo ad appassionati (ma anche a neofiti). Riscopriamo il gusto di questi giochi fatti di tempo e mente, ci stiamo perdendo davvero qualcosa!

Bellissimo set di scacchi di qualità molto superiore a quanto mi sarei aspettato! La scacchiera è in legno di pino ed è pieghevole a metà, in questo modo occupa poco posto e al suo interno contiene tutti i pezzi. La cosa più bella è la presenza dei pezzi sia per giocare a scacchi che per giocare a dama! ♟️ I pezzi già nel prenderli in mano si percepisce la pesantezza dovuta all'ottima qualità: sono in legno intagliato a mano e di eccellente qualità, e sul fondo è presente un feltrino per evitare che graffi la tavola. 🔝 La tavola è anch'essa di buona qualità, liscia e molto piacevole al tatto, e le pedine scorrono benissimo. Non posso dare 5 stelle però per l'unico vero aspetto negativo di questo set: una volta aperta la scacchiera, devi togliere TUTTI i pezzi prime di girarla verso l'alto per giocarci, e molte volte ti cadranno per terra, comprese le pedine o gli scacchi che non stai usando: questo è dovuto al fatto che non rimangono ben saldi alla struttura, ma sono solo appoggiati. 😐 Avrei preferito, anzi, direi che sarebbe proprio necessario, un modo per tenerli ben saldi in posizione, senza dover togliere tutto e rimettere tutto accuratamente al suo posto una volta che la partita è finita, il che ti toglie un sacco di tempo! ⌚️ Viene fornito con istruzioni, una cartolina raffigurante gli scacchi e alcuni adesivi fantasy: personalmente non ne capisco il senso, ma per i più piccoli può essere un pensiero carino. 🤔 4 stelle ma assolutamente migliorabile il modo in cui vengono tenuti in posizione i pezzi, alla lunga altrimenti è snervante! 3 🌟 Spero che questa recensione possa esservi utile!
